The Sand Miners at the bank of River Niger in Onitsha, Anambra State, criticized the authorities of Onitsha South Local Government over demolishing their buildings and mining equipment allegedly under the state government's orders. The Onitsha South LGA authorities demolished the miners’ installations and carried out dredging in February.
