Middleman receives 11-year prison sentence for N48.5m theft

Okwudili Ezeobi, an agent, was sentenced to 11 years in prison by Magistrate Azeez Alogba at an Igbosere Magistrates’ Court in Lagos Island. This was for defrauding a businessman of N48,580,000 by falsely claiming to help him buy phones from Dubai. The convict was also ordered to repay the full amount to the victim.
