According to Deloitte Canada's economic outlook report, Canada seems likely to avoid a recession even though it is facing ongoing pressure from higher interest rates.

The province is allocating $200,000 to expand spay and neuter clinics through the Winnipeg Humane Society and Feed the Furbabies Canada.
