DALLAS TWP. — Misericordia University held a graduation event for the Class of 2024 on Saturday at the Anderson Sports and Health Center.
During the graduate student graduation ceremony, 90 students received master’s and/or doctorate degrees. The keynote speaker for the graduate graduation was Mary Cummings, Esq., who also received a Doctor of Humane Letters. Former President Thomas J. Botzman, Ph.D. and Vanessa Botzman, BSN, were also honored with Doctor of Humane Letters. Monsignor John J. Bendik offered the Benediction.
At the undergraduate graduation ceremony, 208 students received their bachelor degrees. Mary Haddad, RSM, was the keynote speaker and recipient of Doctor of Humane Letters. Thomas P. Brennan, Esq., received the Catherine McAuley Medal. The Benediction was offered by Bishop Joseph C. Bambera, Diocese of Scranton.
