The House of Representatives will investigate how the Lagos-Calabar coastal highway was obtained.
This happened after a motion was brought up by Austine Achado (APC, Benue) during Thursday's plenary, urging quick national attention.
Achado argued that the contract was not awarded properly and did not receive approval from the National Assembly.
However, the House decided to assign the matter to its Procurement and Works committees.
