Until his mysterious death, Miguel attended BrickHall School in Abuja.
Miguel reportedly passed away at the school during lunchtime.
According to The PUNCH, the medical report from Dr. Akinwande Ajayi of Excel Specialist Hospital, Abuja, suggested that he choked on food while eating at school.
A member of the House representing Etche/Omuma Federal Constituency, Rivers State, brought up the urgent issue of Miguel's death and its impact on his family and classmates.
The lawmaker warned that if not addressed, this incident could negatively affect Nigeria's reputation among other civilized nations.
After the motion was accepted, the House agreed to form a special committee to investigate Miguel Ovoke's untimely death within four weeks and take further legislative action based on the findings.
The House also paid tribute to the deceased by observing a minute of silence.
