Disney+ will add a new ESPN tile to the streamer by the end of 2024.
“We will be adding an ESPN section to Disney+, giving all U.S. subscribers access to specific live games and studio shows within the Disney+ app,” The Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger said on Tuesday’s Q2 earnings call. “We see this as the first step to bring ESPN to Disney+ viewers as we prepare for the launch of our improved standalone ESPN streaming service in the fall of 2025.”
