Customers of DStv and GOtv in Nigeria have been informed to anticipate interruptions in service from Sunday, May 5, to Tuesday, May 7, because of the continuing construction project on the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway.
DStv posted a notice on social media on Friday, reassuring customers that its technical team will be working to move its facility and reduce service disruptions during the process.
The statement stated, “Our uplink facility will be affected by the ongoing Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road construction project. Consequently, we are compelled to relocate.
“From Sunday, May 5, 2024 to Tuesday May 7, 2024, our technical team will be working tirelessly to relocate and minimize disruptions during the exercise.
“We value your patience and understanding during this period and are committed to providing the quality service and support you expect from DStv and GOtv.”
PUNCH Online reports that demolition for the 700km Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway began on Monday.
As per the Minister of Works, David Umahi, the construction will last for eight years and will cost N15 trillion.
