Jimmy Fallon joked that Donald Trump’s short attention span has led to him passing notes to his lawyers during his hush-money trial.
Jimmy Fallon stated during his opening monologue on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” that in the hush-money trial of former President Trump, he keeps passing handwritten notes to his lawyers.
Fallon said they have a few of these notes and they are quite interesting.
Fallon started with a note asking if Uber Eats delivers to court.
He continued with a note asking if someone is his best friend or not, emphasizing the need to pay attention.
Fallon's final joke was about Trump's love of diet Coke and the speculation that he is struggling to stay awake without it in the courtroom.
He concluded with a note saying Trump has a 16-ounce bottle of Diet Coke in his tie, making a reference to Trump’s famously long ties.
Late-night talk show hosts have been focusing on Trump’s trial since it began on April 22. Fallon previously made fun of Trump for napping in court, which the former president denied.
He joked that Trump's lawyers have been trying various devices to keep him from falling asleep in court, with the only successful one so far being an iPad playing ‘Bluey.’ joked on Wednesday night’s episode.
