Following anti-Israel protests at colleges throughout the US last week, a group of University of Texas at Dallas students staged a sit-in on Tuesday, bringing their concerns to the university president.
About 100 students against Israel took part in the peaceful protest, starting outdoors on campus at 1 p.m. Some students linked arms and prayed for the Gaza residents. The main demand of the protesters is for the university to stop investing in companies involved in producing weapons used against the people of Gaza, as per The Dallas Morning News.
“Our money supports these companies providing Israel with weapons, and not just Israel, but other countries as well.
