Comedian, actor, producer, and entrepreneur Kevin Hart and his company Hartbeat have agreed to be represented by WME in all areas, as reported by the agency on Thursday.
Hart still creates, stars in, and produces movies, TV shows, advertisements, and podcasts through Hartbeat. The decision to join WME comes as Hart and Hartbeat continue to grow their collection of multi-platform intellectual property.
Hart – recognized by Billboard as the top earning comedian in 2023 – recently unveiled his “Acting My Age” tour, a new intimate tour with tickets set to go on general sale tomorrow. Last month, he was honored with the Kennedy Center’s annual Mark Twain Prize for American Comedy, becoming the 25th recipient and the youngest honoree to date. Hart has collected numerous Grammy and Emmy award nominations throughout his career spanning over 25 years. He is also a 2-time New York Times Best Selling author.
A flourishing entrepreneur, Hart serves as the Chairman of Hartbeat, which devises, produces, distributes, and promotes entertainment and experiences at the intersection of comedy and culture. Hartbeat, which delivered 23 projects last year in TV, film, digital, and audio, is one of the most in-demand creative powerhouses for platforms, brands, and audiences. The business holds important alliances with NBCUniversal, Netflix, SiriusXM, Sundance Institute, P&G, Walmart, Chase, and Draft Kings, among others.
Hart’s business ventures also involve serving as Chairman of his VC firm Hartbeat Ventures. He is a founding partner in premium tequila brand Gran Coramino, plant based quick serve restaurant Hart House, and nutritional wellness brand VitaHustle.
Hart still retains representation from 3 Arts, Schreck Rose Dapello Adams Berlin & Dunham and Haley Hileman.
