The Dallas boys volleyball team was losing after two sets, but then they came back to win the final two sets and beat Hazleton Area 3-2 on Wednesday.
After Dallas won the first set 25-16, Hazleton Area won the next two sets 25-22 and 25-12. Dallas then evened the score with a 25-17 win in the fourth set and secured the win with a 15-12 victory in the fifth and last set.
Carter Brunn had 20 kills for Dallas, and Cameron Faux contributed 18 kills and eight digs.
Shawn Hill made 12 kills for Hazleton Area.
Holy Redeemer won against Lake-Lehman with a score of 3-0
The Royals easily won all sets in a match against Lake-Lehman. The scores were 25-4, 25-6, and 25-8 in favor of Holy Redeemer.
Nathan Coates made four kills for Redeemer, and Cole Bradley got seven points and two aces.
Berwick won 3-0 against Hanover Area
Josh Kishbaugh's seven aces and 13 service points led Berwick to a clean sweep with set scores of 25-4, 25-10, 25-22 for the Bulldogs.
Brock Seely contributed 18 kills to the Berwick offense, while Jayden Charles got 12 service points and 10 digs.
BOYS LACROSSE
Dallas won against Tunkhannock with a score of 9-1
Andrew Machulski scored five goals for Dallas in their win against Tunkhannock. Connor Hivish added two goals and an assist for the Mountaineers.
Tunkhannock’s only goal was scored by Kaden Youells, with an assist from Trevor Maryasz.
Delaware Valley won 25-1 against Holy Redeemer
The Warriors were ahead 12-0 after the first quarter and went on to easily win against Holy Redeemer. Nine different players scored at least two goals for Delaware Valley, with Jaxon Barbalich leading the way with three goals.
Casey Kovaleski scored the only goal for Holy Redeemer.
Abington Heights won 14-1 against Lake-Lehman
Evan Davis scored four goals, and the Comets defense played a big role in the victory over Lake-Lehman. Austin Boersma added three goals for Abington Heights, and goalie Colton Naholnik made 10 saves.
Hayden Evans scored Lake-Lehman’s only goal, with the assist from Logan Law.

WOMEN’S TENNIS
Drew won 8-1 against Wilkes
The Colonels lost all six singles matches to Landmark Conference opponent Drew.
Tea Amerise and Kensington Edmond, playing as a doubles team, secured the only victory for Wilkes.
MEN’S TENNIS
Drew won 7-2 against Wilkes
Wilkes' record in the Landmark Conference dropped to 3-4 with a road loss.
The Colonels secured wins through Nathanial Rathe in singles, and Angelo Guzman and Sebastian Sylvester in doubles.
WOMEN’S LACROSSE
Scranton won 19-1 against Wilkes
The Colonels were decisively defeated in their final road game of the season.
Wilkes was behind 12-0 before Maleah Cobham scored the team’s only goal. The Colonels now have an overall record of 2-13, and are 0-7 in the Landmark Conference.
Lebanon Valley won 18-10 against Misericordia
Despite a standout performance by Skylar Dowling, Misericordia couldn't manage to win on the road at Lebanon Valley.
Dowling achieved nine total points, with three goals and six assists. Michelle Torzilli added three goals and six draw controls.
FDU-Florham won 21-10 against King’s
King’s was outscored 11-2 in the second quarter and ended up falling short against FDU-Florham.
Chloe Burke scored three goals and led the Monarchs.
MEN’S LACROSSE
Misericordia won 13-9 against Lebanon Valley
The Cougars won after scoring 5 goals in the final nine minutes. Misericordia was behind 9-8 in the fourth quarter, but then scored five unanswered goals to take the lead and secure the victory.
Brendan Stanley scored four goals for Misericordia, and Jared Pelliccione scored three goals and helped with one more.
Scranton won against Wilkes with a score of 22-6.
The Colonels lost their last home game of the year, bringing their record to 4-10 with a 1-6 record in the Landmark Conference.
Colby Opromolla and Tim Hartka each scored two goals for Wilkes.
SOFTBALL
Misericordia had a draw.
The Cougars lost the first game 10-5, but then won 12-4, resulting in a split with Scranton.
In the second game, Emma Griffin got three hits and two RBI, and Misericordia had 15 hits and scored 12 runs in only five innings.
