The head of Labour Party, Julius Abure, and his brother have left the private health facility where they were taken for treatment after a fire destroyed his home in Abuja.
The National Youth Leader of the party, Kennedy Ahanotu, informed The PUNCH about this.
Ahanotu mentioned in a phone call with our correspondent, "Yes, the national chairman has been discharged and advised to return tomorrow for further check-up. He is in good health and looked much better compared to when he was taken to the hospital yesterday."
A fire reportedly occurred at Abure’s home in Abuja on Wednesday.
Shortly after 1am, a statement was released suggesting that the fire might have been an attempt on Abure's life.
Members of the National Working Committee of LP acknowledged that despite his security personnel taking action, it is expected that Abure will have to report the incident to the police himself once he is discharged.
Before being released from the hospital, Ahanotu assured our reporter on Thursday morning that the chairman and his brother were in stable condition.
