Trump steered away from discussing the border and mentioned, “Many people escape consequences. They say, 'Let him go.' 'Let him go.' I'm the only one who has to post a bond. I posted a $175 million bond this morning. I did nothing wrong. They can commit serious crimes and walk free? Is that fair? This is known as radical left ideology.”

The former president has been absent from the public eye for weeks and has had plenty of rest at his private club. Although he has not been actively campaigning, Trump's current state may indicate that Republicans would be better off if he avoids campaign events.
Donald Trump is unable to perform well on the campaign trail, and Republicans have chosen a candidate who may soon be convicted of a crime.
