SNL’s Weekend Update had a good joke about Trump’s attempt to sell a special Bible associated with the 1/6 attack.
Colin Jost mentioned that four presidents were in New York City at the same time, three for a joint fundraiser at Radio City and one selling bibles door to door. Donald Trump teamed up with country music star Lee Greenwood to sell a $60 edition of the Bible that includes the Constitution, lyrics to Greenwood’s song, and a humorous reference to God's resignation letter. Trump's version of the bible ends with Jesus' disciples storming Jerusalem to overturn the crucifixion results.

Jost also noted that Trump posted a video encouraging his followers to purchase the special Bible.
Trump emphasized the need for all Americans to have a Bible in their homes and claimed to have many.
Jost remarked that he actually believes Trump owns many Bibles and may have been sent thousands with a request to read them.
This serves as a weekly reminder to Republicans that Donald Trump will always be associated with the 1/6 attack and it will never be forgotten. The event will continue to follow Trump for the rest of his life, and when he accepts the Republican presidential nomination, many Americans will see the insurrectionist behind the 1/6 attack.
