A 24-year-old man is facing multiple charges after an incident in Lower New Cornwall, N.S., early Friday morning.
In a statement released by the RCMP on Saturday, police reported that they arrived at a residence on Cornwall Road around 2:40 a.m. after receiving a report of a man outside making threats and possibly having a gun.
The police said in a statement that officers learned a man, known to the homeowner, was outside yelling threats and claiming he would shoot the homeowner and the police. He then rode an ATV to a nearby residence and fired shots into the air.
“The initial investigation also revealed that the man had damaged a parked vehicle at the property on Cornwall Rd.”
