Pope Francis decided not to go to the Way of the Cross Easter ceremony in Rome at the last moment due to concerns about his health, the Vatican announced on Friday.
The Vatican said in a statement that Pope Francis will watch the Way of the Cross at the Coliseum from the Saint Martha Residence tonight to protect his health before the vigil and the Easter Sunday mass tomorrow.
