A man in Brockville, Ont., who was discovered eating sidewalk salt without wearing pants has been charged with mischief, according to the police.
Authorities were summoned to the Rexall Pharmacy on Pearl Street West around 7:30 a.m. on March 21.
“Officers received a call … about a man eating sidewalk salt from the bin and hitting windows with his pants down,” Brockville police said in a media release on Tuesday.
The pantless suspect was reportedly already on probation, according to the police.
A 38-year-old man was taken into custody and is facing charges of mischief and violation of probation.
He was subsequently released with conditions and a future court date, police say.
