Authorities arrested and charged three individuals following a probe into a robbery that was reported at a business in Rosthern.
The Rosthern RCMP received the report of the robbery at a local business on March 25 at 7:30 p.m.
Police stated that after investigating, they found that two men entered the business with an axe and a knife and took some money. An adult woman stayed in the vehicle and later helped the men leave. The people in the business were not physically hurt.
Saskatoon police announced that they located and arrested all three suspects on Wednesday.
“The axe, knife, and money used in the crime have been found by police,” officers said.
Police have accused Kayden Aubichon, 22, from Prince Albert, Sask., of two counts of robbery with a weapon, assault with a weapon, and wearing a disguise with intent to commit a crime.
Rico Opikokew, 23, from Canoe Lake, Sask., is facing charges of two counts of robbery with a weapon, three counts of failing to follow a probation order, assault with a weapon, and wearing a disguise with intent to commit a crime.
Finally, police have charged Kristy Charles, 30, from Prince Albert, Sask., with two counts of robbery with a weapon.
According to police, Aubichon appeared in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on Wednesday, and Opikokew and Charles appeared in Saskatoon Provincial Court on the same day.
