The police department in the Niagara Region has identified the married couple who were found deceased inside a residence. St. Catharines, Ont. home on Monday.
Police who investigate murders say the couple were found just after midday at a house on Elma Street, close to Scott and Dorothy Streets.
With permission from their family, the police revealed that the two 75-year-olds were Celine-Marie Owens and Harold Owens.
It is still not known what caused the deaths of the Owens, but the situation has been considered suspicious.
Detectives say no one has been taken into custody, but they are working on finding those responsible.
Law enforcement stated that anyone with details can contact NRPS or Crime Stoppers.
