Quebec provincial police are examining the discovery of two bodies in a residence in the Laurentians area.
The bodies were located around 9:15 a.m. inside a home in Lac-Supérieur, Que., about 105 kilometers northwest of Montreal.
Provincial police spokesperson Camille Savoie says the two individuals were taken to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
Savoie states that the deaths are viewed as suspicious.
The crimes against persons unit has assumed control of the investigation.
Police are not providing any comments on the cause or circumstances surrounding the two deaths.
