A two-vehicle collision collision in Scarboroughin Ontario on Sunday led to one vehicle leaving the road and hitting a mosque, according to police.
Officers received reports of a crash near Bertrand Avenue and Birchmount Road around 11:15 a.m.
Police, paramedics, and fire crews were sent to the scene. Police reported that one of the vehicles crashed into a mosque on the northwest corner of the intersection.
Paramedics assessed one person at the scene, but no one needed further medical attention.
Authorities noted that road closures were in place as they continued to evaluate the situation.
