Player of the Year
As a two-time Times Leader All-WVC pick, Walsh played a significant part in Dallas's 21 victories. She was the top scorer in Division 1 with an average of 18.6 points and was second in free throw percentage, making 78.8% of her shots. She had the skill to drive to the basket or shoot from the perimeter, making her capable of dominating games. The coaches named her the Division 1 MVP.
CLAIRE AUFIERO
Nanticoke Area
Senior
The two-time Times Leader All-WVC pick was chosen as the Division 2 Co-Player of the Year by the coaches. Aufiero finished third in the division in scoring with an average of 17.1 while making 72.4% of her free throws and 39 3-pointers. She reached her 1,000th career point in the 17th game of the season.
KAITLYN BINDAS
Hazleton Area
Freshman
The top newcomer in the WVC finished fourth in Division 1 in scoring with an average of 15.0 and ranked third with 41 3-pointers. She also made 80.6% of her free throws (29-of-36) while showing excellent ballhandling skills.
BELLA BOYLAN
Holy Redeemer
Sophomore
Boylan was named the Division 2 MVP by the coaches, averaging 8.3 points in a balanced offensive strategy. She also made 27 3-pointers. Her main contributions were not just in stats but also as a strong defender, ballhandler, and rebounder.
KEIRA DOUGHERTY
Crestwood
Sophomore
A two-time Times Leader All-WVC pick, Dougherty took on more of a point guard role this season, but still produced strong numbers. She ranked fifth in Division 1 in scoring with an average of 13.5, made 72.2% of her free throws, and had 25 3-pointers.
MacKENZIE PERLUKE
Wyo. Valley West
Senior
For the second consecutive season, Perluke received Times Leader All-WVC honors. She finished third in Division 1 with an average scoring of 16.4 and also ranked third in free throw percentage at 72.2%. She also had 23 3-pointers on her way to reaching 1,000 career points.
DANIELLA RANIELI
Pittston Area
Junior
Ranielli, a three-time Times Leader All-WVC pick, was named the Division 1 Player of the Year by the coaches. She ranked second in Division 1 in scoring with an average of 18.3, first in free-throw shooting with 82.9% from the line, and first with 60 3-pointers. She reached 1,000 career points.
SOPHIA SHULTS
Hazleton Area
Junior
Shults, a two-time Times Leader All-WVC pick, was one of the most versatile players. She scored 12.7 points per game and made 63.6% of her free throws. She also contributed strong defense and rebounding on both ends of the court. She will be part of a young but experienced team next season.
ELIZABETH VIGLONE
Dallas
Senior
As the only senior on a 21-win team, Viglone provided leadership as well as fearless rebounding and defense, often against larger opponents. She also averaged 11 points, made 63.1% of her free throws, and made 23 3-pointers.
ELLA WILSON
Lake-Lehman
Junior
The two-time Times Leader All-WVC pick was also chosen as the Division 2 Co-Player of the Year by the coaches. Wilson led the entire WVC with an average scoring of 20.9 and led Division 2 in free throw percentage at 79.5%. She reached 1,000 career points.
