Hundreds came together to attend the Kelowna Fan Experience in the city’s downtown core on Saturday.
The three-day event, which is happening at three places, began Friday night and concludes Sunday afternoon.
The Innovation Centre, Black Box Theatre and downtown branch of the Okanagan Regional Library are this year’s locations.
“People love to be creative and experiment with embodying their favorite movie or celebrity,” said organizer Bonnie Gratz. “It’s an opportunity to break free from daily life and become someone entirely different.”
Aside from a Cosplay competition, activities, karaoke, film screenings and talks will occur throughout the weekend.
Cosplay enthusiasts can anticipate karaoke, film screenings, gatherings and even presentations from cosplay performers.
