WILKES-BARRE — The Wyoming Valley Children’s Association (WVCA) hosted its 100th Blue & Gold Gala on Saturday at the Westmoreland Club.
Every year, WVCA hosts a special fundraising Gala to gather support for the WVCA School and its students. This year, the event had extra significance as it marked the 100th year of service to the community. The Gala included a cocktail hour, a large silent auction, a short program, dinner, and dancing with the live band Group du Jour.
For this milestone year, WVCA acknowledged several community partners.
The Gala also marked the beginning of WVCA’s Centennial Campaign which will aid in program expansion and campus enhancements.
