Officers have pressed charges in connection with the passing of a 29-year-old man in north Edmonton last weekend.
The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) said officers received a call to a residence close to 84 Street and 136 Avenue around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday.
They came to discover a 29-year-old man deceased in the lower level.
Edmonton’s medical examiner finished an examination Thursday and found that Austin Anderson passed away due to strangulation.
Detectives dealing with homicides have subsequently apprehended and accused a 31-year-old man.
Joshua Fairley is charged with second-degree murder.
Authorities stated that the men were acquainted with each other.
