It is reported that three students studying Medicine and Surgery at Abia State University Uturu died in a car accident on their way back to Aba from the school’s induction ceremony for medical students on Thursday.
Six of them were returning from Uturu when the accident occurred.
A source mentioned that three students have died, two are injured and receiving medical care, while one miraculously survived.

There is also a separate video showing the victims in the hospital.
According to another source, the accident occurred when the driver lost control of the vehicle carrying the students and the vehicle overturned.
The Commander of the FRSC in Abia State, Fredrick Ogiden, confirmed the incident and stated that his team arrived at the scene shortly after the accident. The vehicle involved was an ash-colored private Toyota Camry.
The incident took place at the Okigwe area of the Enugu-Umuahia Expressway.
Attempts to reach the state police authorities regarding the crash were unsuccessful as their calls were not answered.
