The first episode of season 7 of '9-1-1' attracted a large audience on its new home, ABC.
The start of the new season was watched by 8.85 million people on ABC, Hulu, and other digital platforms within three days of its release, according to Nielsen live-plus-three-day data. This premiere was the most-watched multiplatform broadcast of the show since November 8, 2022.
Within three days of being available on multiple platforms, '9-1-1' also achieved a 1.84 rating among adults 18-49, which is its highest rating in almost 2 years.
Although the premiere initially had 4.93 million viewers on the same day, it gained an additional 3.92 million viewers from delayed viewing on multiple platforms. The initial rating of 0.60 increased by 207% to reach 1.84 in the three-day multiplatform rating.
