“The View” often becomes chaotic, but Chef José Andrés tried to control it by mildly scolding the ABC hosts on Wednesday morning.
Andrés was on the show to promote his new cookbook “Zaytinya” and brought a small feast. He was eager to talk about the dishes he brought, and the hosts were eager to eat them. Host Joy Behar got overly focused on finding a particular dish on the table.
While Andrés was explaining the taramosalata, Behar took a bite and said “I love that,” prompting hosts Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin to pass her the full plate. love “Ladies, organize yourselves!” Andrés jokingly scolded, as he was interrupted. “I’m trying to explain something here!”
The scolding surprised the audience and the hosts, and the women quickly settled down to listen.
Andrés later took a moment to compliment moderator Whoopi Goldberg, saying, “Hand me the garlic. You’re the best cook I know.”
