House Oversight Committee Ranking Member Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) presented the embarrassing details of the Biden impeachment failure while James Comer sat next to him.
Rep. Raskin stated:
Hopefully, today marks the end of one of the most major failures in congressional investigations – the attempt to find a serious wrongdoing by Joe Biden and impeach him for it. In the past funny episodes of this ongoing series, America saw:
- Nearly 20 fact witnesses who could not find any wrongdoing by President Biden, let alone a serious crime, and testified that Biden was not involved in any of his family’s business deals.
- Three expert witnesses called by the majority, who found nothing in the thousands of pages of documents produced by the majority that came close to a serious crime.
- Bank records that confirm what all the witnesses told us, that Joe Biden was not involved in his family's businesses.
- Repeated displays of irrelevant pornographic images by the Majority for no legislative or investigative purpose.
- A star witness, Gal Luft, who turned out to be a Chinese agent and an illegal arms trafficker.
- The key piece of evidence, an FD-1023 Form, in which the FBI recorded a completely made-up tips about a $5 million bribe to Vice President Biden by Alex Smirnov, who has been charged by a Trump-appointed US Attorney for lying to the FBI and is now in jail in California.
Today, the Chairman and House Republicans have hit a new low. The investigation into Biden comes to an end, as House Republicans in more than a dozen Biden districts ask for mercy and the Committee attempts to save face weeks after the Super Bowl. Today, we hear from two more witnesses who have failed to testify to any presidential wrongdoing.

Raskin’s assessment of Comer’s failures was harsh, and it happened with Chair Comer sitting beside him pretending like he was not there.
Hopefully, Rep. Raskin is correct, and today will be the final day of the sham investigation into President Joe Biden.
The country has important matters to attend to, including the possibility of a partial government shutdown in four days.
Instead of dealing with important issues, House Republicans are focusing on impeachment, knowing it will not lead anywhere.
