A fire destroyed a dormitory for female students at the University of Benin on Tuesday.
An X user, Ruth Nifemi, shared a video and reported that the fire caused damage to documents and belongings at the university's Hall 2 dormitory.
In her post, she mentioned, 'Hall 2 UNIBEN is on fire and the fire service arrived without water'
'An entire room containing documents was burned down'
The cause of the fire is not known at this time.

A female student’s hotel at the University of Benin was on Tuesday gutted by fire.
According to an X user, Ruth Nifemi, who shared a video, the fire destroyed some documents and property at the Hall 2 hostel of the university.
