Police say they cannot share many details, but confirm they are investigating a homicide at an incident on Selkirk Avenue near McPhillips Street.
According to a police spokesperson speaking to Global Winnipeg, multiple units were called to a residence in the 1200 block of Selkirk around 4 p.m. on Monday and have maintained a presence since then.
Police mention that more information about the victim, who is an adult male, will be released on Tuesday. This incident marks the 11th homicide in Winnipeg for 2024.
