Trump has been trying to get the United Steelworkers to support him, but the union's president Bruce McCall announced that the union will support President Biden instead.
McCall stated on Fox News:
We are clearly leaning towards endorsing President Biden, and our executive board will likely make the final decision very soon.
President Biden has shown strong support for industrial workers in the country with the infrastructure bill and other initiatives. He has also emphasized the importance of ensuring fair competition with other nations, which represents tangible progress for American industrial workers.
When asked why the endorsement for Biden has not happened yet, McCall explained, “We simply haven't had our board meeting yet.”

Trump has sought the support of autoworkers, Teamsters, and steelworkers unions, with the autoworkers and steelworkers deciding to endorse President Biden, and the Teamsters indicating they are likely to do the same after the presidential conventions.
Donald Trump has been one of the most anti-labor presidents in modern American history, with an abysmal record on labor. It would be surprising if any major unions supported Trump. On the other hand, Joe Biden has been one of the most pro-labor presidents since FDR. Labor is unlikely to abandon Biden and certainly will not support Donald Trump instead.
