House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan alleged that President Biden shared classified information with his ghostwriter because of a book advance. However, the White House denies this.
Jordan made some extravagant claims without evidence:
JIM JORDAN: “What did the ghostwriter do to the audio recording of his conversations with Biden after a special counsel was named?”
HUR: “He slid those files into his recycle bin on his computer.”
JIM JORDAN: “Tried to destroy the evidence didn’t he?”
HUR: “Correct.” pic.twitter.com/pOv4kj0zvQ

White House spokesperson for oversight and investigations, Ian Sams, criticized Jordan, “Jim Jordan completely lied and misled Americans. The Hur report indicated that there were “innocent” reasons for the documents being mistakenly taken. It stated that Biden “did not allow others to access” his notebooks. It says the “evidence does not demonstrate” Biden knew the passages were classified.”
The hearing itself has been a sham. House Republicans have no clear message and can’t decide if they believe that Biden is mentally declining and unfit to be president or if he is a criminal mastermind.
It's the same mixed message that Republicans and Trump have been conveying for months. Trump will argue that Biden can’t formulate coherent sentences and then rant about how President Biden is leading a massive conspiracy across multiple states and jurisdictions to prosecute him.
The hearing is an embarrassment to Congress and illustrates why Republicans should be ousted from power in November.
