Another building on Main Street in Winnipeg was destroyed by a fire overnight.
The city says that firefighters worked all night to put out the fire on Main Street in the 500 block, and it was brought under control by 3:39 a.m. on Saturday.
No one was reported injured, but the building is considered a total loss.
Main Street going north was closed, but it reopened at 8 a.m. on Saturday. However, southbound Main Street between Alexander Avenue and Logan Avenue remained closed until the crews could leave the scene.
The city recommends that people be careful in the area because the water used to fight the fire has frozen and made the ground slippery.
Crews will keep an eye on the conditions and put sand and de-icing materials on the roads and sidewalks as needed to make them less slippery.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
