In the Houston metro area, Klein ISD is facing the fifth allegation of a district worker engaging in sexual misconduct this school year.
Since 2019, Isidoro Guerrero has been a teacher at Klein Forest High School, but he came under fire for allegedly behaving inappropriately with students in April, according to a statement by Klein ISD.
The allegations against Guerrero stem from his involvement in what the district has described as a “non-sanctioned trip” with students outside school premises, according to Click2Houston. Upon receiving a tip on April 23, the district and local police promptly confronted Guerrero, which resulted in the termination of his employment the following day.Guerrero had denied the allegations.The district stated, per Click2Houston, “Although these allegations are deeply troubling, we are steadfast in our commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of every student entrusted to our care.”
Despite the seriousness of the claims against him, Guerrero has not been arrested, and his teaching credentials remain valid, according to state records reviewed by Texas Scorecard.
