Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have arrived in Lagos for a three-day visit to Nigeria.
They are scheduled to have a meeting with the Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, at Lagos House in Marina.
The royal couple arrived in Nigeria on Friday to promote the Invictus Games, a sports event that Prince Harry established for injured military veterans.
While in Lagos, the British royal pair attended the Dream Big Basketball clinic at Ilupeju Grammar School as guests of the Giant of Africa Foundation.
President of the Giant of Africa Foundation, Masai Ujiri, praised the royal couple for inspiring young African kids through sports.
The couple expressed their delight in participating in programs aimed at empowering young people in Africa.
During their visit to the officer’s mess complex in Abuja on Saturday, Prince Harry's team, dressed in yellow, played an exhibition match against a team led by Nigeria’s chief of defence staff.
The prince’s team took an early lead, with some players seated on foam mats and others missing limbs.
However, they were defeated by the commander’s squad Team CDS.
Later, the couple attended a reception for military families, where they were welcomed by traditional dancers who also showcased acrobatics.
