The police moved the case to the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of SCID Kaduna after the father complained.
The girl's father said she was missing and was taken by her cousin for ransom.
The cousin demanded 8 million Naira from the father for the girl.
The police traced and caught the cousin, Abdulazeez Idris in Makarfi Local Government.
The cousin said he killed the girl by cutting her neck and admitted to it.
The State Commissioner of Police promised to investigate the case for justice.
The suspect will go to court after the investigation.
