Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson said that the club will do their best to make Arthur Okonkwo’s transfer permanent.
The English goalkeeper, who is on loan from Arsenal, has had a successful season playing for the Red Dragons.
He was selected for the League Two team of the season after keeping 14 clean sheets in 36 games and conceding only 30 goals.
The 22-year-old goalkeeper's contract at the Emirates will end this summer, and he is expected to attract interest from various English clubs.
However, the team owned by Ryan Reynolds & Rob McElhenney is determined to keep their star player.
Parkinson told BBC, “We really want to keep Arthur and we’re working on it. It may take time, but we are committed to keeping Arthur at the club.”
