The Wall Street Journal states that former CEO of Starbucks Howard Schultz and his successor Laxman Narasimhan might disagree about the company's direction:
“The situation became public on Sunday night when Schultz posted on LinkedIn criticizing how Narasimhan and his senior leaders were managing the business. Following the company’s poor earnings report, the 70-year-old stated that Starbucks needed to enhance its service to U.S. customers. “’Don’t try to do everything at once,’ he stated. ‘Leaders should show both humility and confidence as they strive to rebuild trust and enhance performance throughout the organization,'” according to WSJ.
