The Yewaland Development Forum has chosen the senator representing Ogun West, Solomon Adeola, also known as Yayi, as its new grand patron.
The appointment will happen during the upcoming 8th edition of the ‘Yewas Talk Series’.
The event, titled ‘Harnessing Our Potentials and Opportunities Towards 2027 and Beyond’, is set to take place on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.
It will include a lecture by the Minister of State for Environment, Dr Iziaq Salako.
This information was announced in a press release signed by the forum’s President, Wasiu Fagbohun, on Wednesday.
The senator, who will be installed as the grand patron, has been honored “for his contributions to the development of Yewaland and his dedication to the forum’s mission.”
The forum is a socio-cultural organization devoted to promoting the socio-economic growth of Yewaland in Ogun State and giving a platform for accomplished professionals to provide solutions to the challenges facing the area.
