A Wilkes-Barre man named Scott Edward Knox, 33, from Wilkes-Barre, passed away at a hospital after being discovered with stab wounds on Tuesday.
Knox’s identity was disclosed by the Luzerne County coroner’s office on Wednesday following an autopsy, which determined that he died from multiple stab wounds.
The coroner’s office classified Knox’s death as a homicide.
Authorities from Wilkes-Barre police arrived at 377 S. River St. in response to a reported stabbing, where Knox was found behind the residence before 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
