Fox 4 states, "a former SMU football player now working as a developer is starting to create new areas in Oak Cliff in southern Dallas County.
“Mikail Onu is identifying chances in places where others see challenges. After an injury stopped his football career, he shifted to a new pursuit. Now, he aims to make the playing field fair to build better neighborhoods in overlooked communities in Dallas.
“Onu aims to change 12 acres of land with trees just north of Bonnie View Road and I-20 in Southeast Oak Cliff into a new housing development.”
