Fox News says that Jose Ibarra, who is the suspect in the murder of Augusta University student Laken Riley, was officially charged by a Georgia grand jury on Tuesday. Laken Riley was murdered. Court documents reveal that Jose Ibarra was indicted on 10 charges.
Ibarra, a 26-year-old person who unlawfully entered the country from Venezuela, is believed to have killed 22-year-old nursing student Riley while she was running on the dirt trails at the University of Georgia campus in Athens. The grand jury accused Ibarra of several charges such as malice murder, kidnapping with bodily injury, assault with intent to rape, aggravated battery, obstructing a 911 call, tampering with evidence, and being a peeping Tom. on Feb. 22.
