The police in Wilkes-Barre City are looking into a reported stabbing that happened in the area of Academy and South River streets on Tuesday morning.
There was a large crime scene behind the Mofo Lounge and across Academy Street which led to the closure of the intersection for the morning commute.
Around 10 evidence markers were placed close to each other behind the nightclub, with additional markers on Academy Street and a sidewalk near South River Street.
Several evidence markers were placed near blood spatter that was seen.
The police are also at another location about two blocks away that is connected to the reported stabbing.
The scene was processed by Troopers with the Pennsylvania State Police, Troop P, Forensic Services Unit.
Academy Street between Carey Avenue and South River Street was shut down.
