A female voice in the video mentioned that the two are friends and shared that the victim is well-liked in the Mass Communication Department.
The bully could be heard shouting in Yoruba, “You called me a bad name, you must be crazy!”, while continuing to hit the victim.
She continued to rant, threatening, ” I am waiting for someone to stop me from beating you till you bleed”
In another part of the video, the victim was seen running to safety while the bully chased her down an alley in the presence of others.
At the end of the video, the victim was seen begging while the bully continued to threaten to beat her till she bleeds.
The video has caused a lot of anger from people on the internet on Monday.
Ekiti Baby Governor TK, who tweets as @TanimolaKolade, called for the bully to be expelled.
Another user, Ife, who tweets as @Onieolowo, wondered why those watching couldn't help the victim.
“This is very upsetting. No one there could even stand up for the girl. I hope the authorities will do what is necessary,” he wondered.
Ife, who tweets as @ife_dilrealty, called for the girl to be arrested. “Those guys should be arrested as well. I think the @PoliceNG should do what is necessary,” he stated
This latest incident is coming just a few weeks after another bullying incident at Lead British International School, Abuja, was reported.
After the anger that followed, the Federal Capital Territory Administration closed the school for three days.
As a result, the said bully apologized for her wrongdoing.
The school’s management, in a statement, noted that it had started an investigation into the incident.
