The governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has given the job of Dr Justina Anyadiegwu as the new leader of Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe, Anambra State.
Anyadiegwu takes over from Dr Ifeyinwa Osegbo and leads the 48-year-old institution.
A press release from Soludo’s Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, stated that Anyadiegwu brings lots of experience from 18 years as a senior teacher at Nwafor Orizu College of Education.
The announcement said, “The Anambra State governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has approved the appointment of Dr Justina Anyadiegwu, as the new Provost of Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe.
“Apart from her academic successes, Anyadiegwu has also made big contributions to education in Nigeria. Her work as a trainer with the British Council Nigeria shows her skill and recognition in education.
“Anyadiegwu has a PhD in English/Language Arts/Teacher Education from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, which makes her a respected scholar and educator.”
According to the announcement, the appointment of Anyadiegwu shows the Soludo government’s dedication to promoting merit and supporting the growth and improvement of educational institutions in Anambra State.
It said that the governor wishes Anyadiegwu success in her new role.
