Michelle Yeoh is now a part of the cast of Prime Video's 'Blade Runner 2099'.
There is no information available about Yeoh’s role and the plot of the limited series, which is a follow-up to the original 'Blade Runner' and the 2017 film sequel 'Blade Runner 2049.'
In 2023, Yeoh became the first person of Asian descent to win the Best Actress Academy Award for her role in 'Everything Everywhere All At Once,' which became A24’s highest-grossing film. She also won at the Golden Globe Awards, SAG Awards, and Film Independent Spirit Awards.
Yeoh gained fame in the 1990s through action films in Hong Kong before starring in many successful movies worldwide. She has been in over 60 features and television series, transitioning from a martial arts expert to a Bond Girl.
