Four hat tricks were the main factor as the Hazleton Area girls lacrosse team achieved a 16-4 victory over Wilkes-Barre Area. Brynn Newborn, Faith Russo, Julia Bobrowski and Brooke Harmonosky each scored three times for the Cougars.
Anna Vitali scored two goals to lead Wilkes-Barre Area. Aubrey Kuhl and Elizabeth Pachucki each scored once.
BOYS LACROSSE
Wyoming Seminary 16, Pleasant Valley 12
Jack Herron scored six goals and provided six assists as Wyoming Seminary secured a 16-12 non-conference victory over Pleasant Valley.
Dan Fisher also scored six goals for Sem, with Tadeas Bezdek adding three. Jager Macdonald made 17 saves for the Blue Knights.
BOYS VOLLEYBALL
Nanticoke Area 3, Lake-Lehman 0
The Trojans defeated Lake-Lehman with set scores of 25-3, 25-13 and 25-11. Brady Rushton contributed 15 assists and 13 service points.
Jayden Wasielewski had 10 aces and 17 service points, as well as seven aces. Liam Mullery added four kills for Nanticoke.
