The story of "The Idea of You" focuses on the relationship between an art gallery owner and a younger member of a pretend boyband, and the songs they sing are real and part of a soundtrack with well-known musicians.
The movie, available on Prime Video, tells the tale of Soléne Marchand (Anne Hathaway), a 40-year-old single mother dealing with a difficult divorce, who meets Hayes Campbell (Nicholas Galitzine), a member of a boy band named August Moon.
In Prime Video’s adaptation of “Cinderella,” Nicholas Galitzine proved he has an amazing voice. He sang Queen’s “Somebody to Love,” a song associated with Anne Hathaway due to her performance in the movie “Ella Enchanted,” among other songs in the film.
Although they haven't talked much about it, Galitzine mentioned that he loves her rendition of the song and joked about possibly collaborating in the future.
While he's currently singing solo, Galitzine performs several songs in “The Idea of You,” including one with the same title. The soundtrack also features other talented artists such as St. Vincent and Maggie Rogers.
